We will see the further reduction of the Federal Government’s Solar Credits subsidy on July 1, 2012.
It is not beyond the realms of possibility it may disappear completely with the sharp reduction in the cost of solar PV systems. Here in QLD, there are signals coming from numerous quarters that the QLD Solar Bonus Scheme (net 44cent Feed in Tariff) is nearing the end of its intended purpose and may be either revised or ended for new entrants.
Of course we will see further power price increases in 2012, and so with these developments afoot, it is a very opportune time to consider solar power for your home or business.
